We are the Junior League of Puerto Rico

Above all else, our goal is to promote and perpetuate social change in the Puerto Rican communities that will benefit most from it. By empowering women and providing valuable leadership training, we are giving local women the tools to get involved, put their talents to work, and positively impact the communities of the island.

Strength in Numbers

As one of hundreds of Junior League chapters across the world, we are a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI). Established in 2022-2023 the Junior League of Puerto Rico plays an integral part in the development, improvement, and support of the communities of Puerto Rico.

Our Local Impact

Right now, our primary focus of eradicating child poverty requires immediate action, and our multi-faceted approach is making an impact. Over the next 5 years we will be working to create more educational opportunities for children as well as provide support to mothers who are struggling to take care of their families. We will achieve these goals through partnerships with local schools, women and children’s shelters, and education-focused nonprofits. Our volunteers will be working to spread awareness of the issues our community faces, develop programs that improve literacy skills and increase access to technology among low-income students, and raise funds to support these causes.
